Ahead of the upcoming municipal election, the Transit Action Alliance of Guelph (TAAG) hosted an orientation session for City Council and Mayoral candidates. A total of 38 candidates joined us across our in-person and online meetings to discuss local transit priorities, rider concerns, and solutions for Guelph’s transportation network.
We are sharing these resources publicly so candidates who could not attend - and local residents eager to hear where candidates stand - have full access to our presentation and key policy asks.

TAAG was part of the Get Involved Guelph's Community Candidate Survey with other local organizations.
Our question: "What measures will you support to improve local transit service, especially frequency and reliability, and how should those improvements be funded?" Read the answers given by candidates by clicking here.
